It is a great honor for 4SGS team that the concept of our space “4 sobe gospođe Safije” is one of the sponsors of this wonderful Festival.

We would like to welcome you to the charity concert and auction, organized by the World Alliance of Consciousness (WCA) in Dubrovnik on August 29 and 30, 2021. One of our frequent guests and an incredible performer and artist Neno Belan will perform, along with his band Fiumens.

Neno Belan is from Split, a singer-songwriter, born on February 2, 1962, an electronics engineer by profession, currently living in Rijeka. The frontman of the former popular Split band Đavoli, with whom he achieved great success in the former Yugoslavia in a short time and left a whole series of hits such as “Tell me about love”, “Stojin na kantunu”, “Bambina”, “Dani ljubavi”. “I love her”, “Stay with me”, “Long warm summer” and others.

After the break-up of the Devil, he continued his successful solo career and maintained a quality creative continuity, so that during the 1990s he published a number of successful songs such as “Sunny Day”, “Wine of the Night”, “Rock Noise”, “Touch Me with Your Lips”, ” Midnight Bells ”,“ Ivona ”and many others. He enriches his solo career by collaborating with the Rijeka band Fiumens, with whom he has been performing continuously since 1997. His music is directly influenced by The Beatles, ie British and American pop-rock in the 1960s, then the sound of original rock’n’roll in the 1950s as well as Dalmatian ethno melodies and Italian belcanto, or canzone, but he is not unfamiliar with flirtation. with other styles such as reggae, ska, latino and others. ? So far in his career, Neno Belan has won 16 Porins and a whole host of nominations. The song “Rijeka snova” was the most performed Croatian song in general in 2008, while the song “Zar više nema nas” was the most performed in 2009, according to the official data of the Institute for the Protection of Small Copyrights. ?

In 2010, Neno Belan received the esteemed professional award of the Croatian Society of Composers – HDS Milivoj Körbler in the category of popular music, which is awarded once in a lifetime. Neno Belan & Fiumens regularly hold concerts throughout the former former state and are one of the most active bands in this area.

WCA is a non-profit organization, inspiring people around the world to express themselves through a platform of performing and visual arts. “Respect 2021” wants to remind us of the greatest values: respect, solidarity and humanity. The event is of a humanitarian nature, as part of the proceeds is intended to support children who lost their roofs over their heads during the earthquake in Petrinja in late 2020.
